Green Lake / Phinney Ridge / Greenwood
Green Lake Park, one of Seattle’s most beloved parks, is surrounded by a dense urban neighborhood. The Park draws thousands of people on a regular basis, particularly during the summer seasons. The Park serves as a natural preserve for numours specifics of trees, plants, birds and waterfowl. The 2.8-mile path around the lake provides a natural recreational spot for runners, bikers, skaters and walkers.
Due to its close proximity to downtown Seattle and the numerous activities that can be done in Green Lake, it is one of the most highly sought-after neighborhoods in Seattle. Additionally, Green Lake is also home to the Seattle Public Theater, who puts out a number of plays throughout the year.
The Phinney Ridge/Greenwood area is strategically located within walking distance of Green Lake and Ballard, but without the hustle and bustle of these areas. Its quiet neighborhood streets are lined with friendly local businesses and coffee places, perfect for a late afternoon/early evening stroll.
Woodland Park Zoo is its most famous landmark in the area and Red Mill Burgers is everyone’s favorite burger place in the neighborhood. New eateries, coffee shops and fun boutiques are opening up all the time and a 5-min walk down Greenwood Avenue North will yield at least 6 local coffee places (Starbucks not included).
This is the perfect neighborhood, for singles, couples, and families alike!
